About Me
My name is Shivoy Nagpaul, and I’m an aspiring attorney currently studying broadcast journalism at Penn State’s Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications. I am originally from the Washington DC area and I have a deep passion for storytelling, media ethics, and the power of communication to inspire change. My goal is to combine my love for journalism and the law to advocate for truth, justice, and accountability.
At Penn State, I’m developing my skills in news reporting, multimedia production, and public speaking, while also focusing on how legal principles intersect with media. This unique blend of interests allows me to approach challenges with both creativity and critical thinking, preparing me to navigate complex issues in both the courtroom and the newsroom.
Outside of my studies, I’m actively involved in student media, where I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience in crafting accurate, compelling stories. Whether I’m covering a breaking news event or exploring legal topics, I strive to bring integrity and professionalism to everything I do.
Looking ahead, I hope to use my background in journalism and law to make a meaningful impact. I want to amplify voices, advocate for justice, and contribute to a world where both media and legal systems work to empower and uplift communities.
